I met Shellix and Picklewyn a few weeks back and saw them a couple nights ago. They invited me to pop in, introduce myself and have a look around.
I recently left the Kinship "Keepers of the Sacred Words" aka Knights who say Ni. The 50s in the Kinship decided to strike out on their own and left the kinship as a home for less played alts. I have two characters that I am trying to develop: a hunter, Jairmiwulf and a burglar, Randalhelm. I don't get to play a lot because of the work I do. I'm in retail, so I work some weird shifts, hence I am not leveling as fast as some of the other players. I left and told them "So long and thanks for all the fish".
Anyway..... I consider myself mature enough to know better, but immature enough not to care. I play the game for fun. I have a twisted sense of humor (why else would I say NI?). I served 14 years in the New York Air National Guard. I have 3 grandkids with 2 more on the way; 2 of my own kids and 3 step-kids.
The one thing I know for sure is the answer to life, the universe and everything is 42.
I'm not entirely sure I want to join a kinship yet or just pug it for a while.

Hehe - - well, from your initial posts . . . . I'd say you'd fit in real well here if you decide to join us, but either way, I can assure you of one thing - We're not going anywhere . Wait, I meant that in a good way, not a bad way - - We like all the aspects of the game, and the kinship is staying put.

Well, I gave in and accepted the invite, as you all probably know by now. I'm not always the most chatty person when I am online. I can't manage my fight and type at the same time, and since I always seem to be fighting for my life I don't seem to type much.
Anyway, I see there are a few hunters and burglars in the kinship and those are my two primary toons (Jairmiwulf - hunter; Randalhelm - burg). I have a dwarf champion, or maybe he's a guardian, anyway.. he was going to be an alt for making armor, but I haven't played him much. I'd be willing to work on him or start a new toon in a line of work that would benefit the kinship (although I dread the grinding to get up to where my two mains are now). let me know what you think.

We never worry about classes or crafters in our kin, we're after the people behind the toons . . . . . we want you to play what you enjoy most . . . playing should never be a chore. Anyway, we have at least one GM of every craft (although only 1 GM Metalsmith, so that's a nice choice if you wanted to work on a crafting alt).
Once again welcome to the kin! We're glad to have you with us.

I'm hoping you all have noticed my absence, but even if not oh well. I have left middle earth for a while. For how long, I don't know. I wasn't able to play as much as I wanted to due to work and family, so I decided to give up LoTRO. It was a hard choice - Work, family or LoTRO had to go. I'm not sure, yet, if it was the right choice, but only time will tell. I enjoyed the few times you took me along into some of the higher level areas. If and when I do decide to return I hope you will have me back.

You'll be welcome back Jairmiwulf - - - don't give up the family - - but if giving up work is an option . . . . . .well, anyway - - - you'll be classified as "Retired," and certainly welcome to return if you are able. Take care buddy, and drop in to see us from time to time.
