Do you see the wondrous effects a nap has? I was up until 3:45 am last night making soup out of a certain turtle (thank you for the 2nd ager) and yet I was up again at 7:15 this morning to get ready for work. Why? Because I had a good nap before getting online I might just have to make this a more regular event! It worked out well, even though I think Lyssa seemed to be trying to send me to bed early!

*claps* I'm proud of you! I can't take naps... When I wake up I spend the rest of the day feeling like i'm in some weird sleep grog haze and just simply staying awake HURTS hahahaha. then once I actually lay down its near impossible to actually fall asleep again UGH. but I'm glad the wonders of naps work for you!

However, as we observed last night, a nap does not always work quite the way you expected to. Last night I accidentally had a 6-hour 'nap'. Sounds great, right!? But it meant that I woke up at around 3:45 am and was up for a couple of hours until I went back to bed to try to get in another hour and a half before having to get up again for work. Perhaps I should set my alarm to wake up from the nap ... Apologies to Drauglin, since I said I'd do 1.14.12 with you at 8-9pm EST, but was unfortunately passed out at that point. Perhaps tonight

this is one trick I'd love to master . . . . or should I say, I was the master . . . . when I worked midnights - with the 12 hour days, I'm shot if I stay on more than an hour on my work nights
